Definately a milestone!

My little man turned SIX years old this Monday!! I am so astonished and proud of who Weston has become. Thinking back to the day he was born, I knew he was a special miracle the moment I saw him. He has surpassed all of my dreams and expectations and never ceases to amaze me. He is so smart, loves school, and has become quite the artist. He enjoys any type of art project and loves anything involving swords! I just love him so much and want him to always know how amazing he is and his mommy and daddy love him to the moon and back!

How Thankful I am....

First I am thanful for God, from him I have been blessed with so much. My family: my wonderful husband, two beautiful children, and all of our family beyond. We have a place to call home. Miracoulsy able bodies to serve us, and so much more. I wish there were a lot more days during the year dedicated to reflection of all that we have. I will never be able to express the gratitude I feel in my heart for all that I have. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

A little piece of heaven

For one night during my two week break we went camping with the Taylors. I always seem to forget how peaceful and amazing our mountains are until we go up there and enjoy them. The weather was perfect, and the kids had a ball. During the night, there was an unbelievable thunder and lightening storm. Luckily the kids were so worn out it didn't affect them too much. I feel so grateful to be able to just drive up the canyon with the family and have a little piece of heaven.

My Kindergartener!!

My handson little man started his carreer as a student today!! I have never had a prouder mommy moment. To see the excitement in his eyes, watch him say see ya later mom and run off to meet his new friends. All I wanted was for his first day to live up to his expectations, and from what I gathered after picking him up, his day was amazing. He was so pleased that he got to have recess like the big kids, and " even sang songs". I am looking forward to this school year and watching my perfect boy learn and grow. Weston I am so proud of you.

Why no posts you say???

School has officially taken over my life! This summer has flown by and I cannot believe that it is august already. I do not think I have seen the sun in several days, because I am stuck behind this computer or reading out of a text book. The are no fun times to speak of, or no pictures of recent events because there haven't been any. So hopefully after the next two week of hell "FINALS" I will have something more entertaining to post, but for now, just send prayers our way that we make it through the next two weeks.

Red, white, and blue!

It has become a family tradition to go to the Provo parade with the Taylors for the 4th of july. The kids love to be part of the festivities. We also enjoyed a BBQ and fun games, including what I hope to become a tradition, a family baseball game! We had so much fun, however, we missed those who were not with us!!

More of the Celebration

Westons favorite part of the celebration was the jump slides, while Izabella loved the petting zoo! We had a blast spending time with friends and family!

Lehi Round Up Days

The kids were so excited to get their faces painted at the carnival. Weston decided that he wanted a dragon so Izzy had to have one too, but pink!

My Precious Angel

I have never seen a more adorable child in my life.... but she is such a trouble maker!! Izabella is into hiding these days, so when I can't find her I panic. Last week she went missing for just a feww seconds it seemed, and this is the masterpiece she was creating. When daddy found her she said "do I look pretty daddy". I lover her so much but she is going to give us a run for our money I can already tell. Mommy loves you Izzy!

Our Little Graduate!!!

It is so hard for me to believe that my precious little man is a preschool graduate! I want him to know how proud I am of him! He stood and sang all the songs he learned, and acted so grown up. It brings tears to my eyes to think he will be starting kindergarten this fall. I just feel so blessed to have such a kind, smart, precious spirit in my life that I get to call my son. Weston, I love you more than words can express.

Dooms Day? I don't think so!

Now is really not a good time for me to have a meteor hit the earth. Despite all of the recent predictions, I have decided there are a few things I need to do first! I would really like to be able to at least enjoy making it to graduation. I need to do some traveling with my hubby, and most importantly see my children reach some of their hopes and dreams. I feel as though my life is just getting started. Therefore, like I said now is just not a good time!! So I hope to see you all later!

Happy Mothers Day to Me!

Being the mother of two precious angels is the most beautiful gift I have been given in my life. Knowing that they have come straight from God to me, has given me the opportunity to experience the purest form of love. It also comes with a responsibility that I take to heart. This mothers day, for some reason has made me aware of the beautiful women around me and truly apprieciate who they are as a mother. I am so thankful for my mother, my mothers mother, and all of the mothers of the world who choose to do right by there children. I challenge all mothers to deeply recognize what amazing spirits they are, even just for this one day.

Play time

I can't even begin to explain how much I have been enjoying this time off with my family! Being able to sit and cuddle with my little love bugs is exactly what I have been longing for. Jake and I even had the much needed date night last weekend. We went to see a movie of a book that I just finished, which we really liked. The thought of going back to school is daunting. I just have to keep the eye on the prize. I just want to thank my family for the rejuvenation, all of their patience and loving support.

Big girls (and boys) don't cry!!!

Lets just start by saying, today has been put off for a very LONG time! I guess your supposed to do childrens annual check-ups and immunizations around their birthdays but for Weston that was December. I could not bring myself to make the appointment. Why you ask... lets just say there is a little bit of anxiety surrounding doctors appointments. The last time I took Weston to get his shots you would have thought we were amputating a leg! The high piched screams and me dragging him out from under the chair was enough to send me over the edge! Izabella on the other hand has always taken it like a champ, but it still breaks my heart. So anyways, we have been preparing for this for a while, lots of bribs, and lots of talks. My nerves this morning were shot.... i mean i was really on the VERGE, if you know what I mean. We get in there and they start off by poking Westons finger, not a peep! Then comes his THREE shots... not one tear (from him anyway). WHAT!!! Then Izabellas turn... all she says is "Ouch". The nurses even said "Wow you have great kids". I definately have to agree! My kids simply amaze me everyday!
